let's hear it for sketching in nature!
We’ll meet in the parking lot, and head to the house. We’ll be painting outdoors, if the weather is inclement we’ll be inside.
Materials you'll need to bring:
-permanent, waterproof, black drawing pen
-Watercolors (a travel size or kid's set ok if you're 'testing the waters', but you'll be happier with a better set. Check prices on Amazon for the Winsor Newton Cotman travel watercolor pan set)
-watercolor sketchbook/journal (regular paper will buckle- make sure it's watercolor or 'multi-media for washes')
-waterbottle (for you to drink and for your paints) as well as a small squirt bottle to wet your pan paints
-small container for rinsing
-**camp chair or stool to sit on outside
-**bug spray (just in case)
